In der immer wieder thematisierten Gewaltspiel-Debatte besticht die Idee eines Verbots der Herstellung und der Verbreitung von den so genannten “Killerspielen”. Jetzt droht der größte deutsche Computerspielehersteller Crytek mit dem Abzug ins Ausland. Wer das hier liest, kommt vielleicht zu dem drastischen Schluss: Gestern die Bücherverbrennung, heute die CD-Verbrennung. Früher gab es die Indizierten Listen - behaltet die doch bei und seid da nur ein wenig konsequenter. Dann schießen unsere Kinder auch mit Blumenknospen auf Tamagotchis und jagen die drolligen Pokemons im virtuellen Raum aufeinander los. Ist ja schöner und gewaltfreier. Wenn es in Videotheken funktioniert, dass sich eine “ab 18 Abteilung” etabliert hat, sollte das auch in den größeren Geschäften für Computerspiele möglich sein - aber ein Verbot ist nur populäre Wahlkampfpropaganda.

Hitflip hat eine interessante Idee ausgegraben: Die Superblogs2007.

Es ist ein neuer Wettbewerb für Blogger, der in zwei Phasen der Nominierung und der Abstimmung abläuft, um den Sieger in den jeweiligen Kategorien zu küren.

Die Superblogs 2007 sollen nicht durch eine Jury gewählt werden. Vielmehr sollen die Blogleser und Blogger entscheiden, welcher Blog Superblog wird! Auch sollen Blogleser und Blogger überhaupt erst Vorschläge machen, welche Blogs zur Wahl des Superblogs 2007 antreten.

Ich interessiere mich insbesondere für die Kategorie “Medienübergreifend” und habe mich einfach mal selbst nominiert. Ein bisschen Egozentrik darf ja schon sein - die Hauptsache ist dabei zu sein! Und sollte ich gewinnen, stifte ich 50% des Geldgewinns für wohltätige Zwecke. [via Twitter];)

Heute ist ein etwas politischer Abend. Mit gewissen Schrecken verfolgten wir aus Spanien über das Internet die neuesten Hochrechnungen und Daten der Wahlen. Das zwar noch nicht offizielle amtliche aber dennoch aussagekräftige Ergebnis der Landtagswahl in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern zeigt uns, dass wohl gewisse Menschen sich in Zukunft von ihrem Sofa mit dem bepuderten Hintern erheben und gefälligst zur Wahl gehen sollten. Es darf einfach nicht sein, dass eine propagandistisch ausgelegte Partei aus der braunen Soße in den Landtag einziehen darf. Wir hoffen ja noch auf das gute im Menschen und glauben, dass eine höhere Wahlbeteiligung von beispielsweise 80% zumindest den gewaltigen Pluspunkt im Ergebnis der NPD aushebeln würde.

Entschuldigung, aber sowas lässt uns zur Weißglut fahren kotzt uns einfach an ärgert uns unglaublich betrübt uns zutiefst kann nicht sein! Schaffen es denn nicht zumindest die noch großen (”guten und nicht braune Suppe”) Parteien wie SPD, CDU, FDP oder die Grünen durch ein ansprechendes Wahlprogramm die Irrgeister und Irrlichter aus den Köpfen der Wähler zu treiben und durch etwas positives Aufgeklärtes zu ersetzen?!

Mit der von uns eingesetzten westlichen Demokratie hat man es auch nicht leicht. Wenn man sie nicht hat, schreit man danach und geht wählen. Sobald die westliche Demokratie in sich verankert ist, kräht kein Hahn mehr und kein Arsch geht wählen. Wir gehen regelmäßig wählen - und das aus guten Gründen.

… I should move to Italy. That was like the thought of the night. You might probably wonder why but the reason is kind of simple after the elections in Germany: Nobody there seems to take the politics serious. Since I’m starting to get tired of the politics in Germany, this might be another option… besides the fact that I don’t speak Italian. Well it is one of the few places the Germans invaded - besides Spain, especially Mallorca, Greece and the Turkey. I think even in Mallorca I could have more fun. At least they got some more sun then we got in Germany in every way. Or did anybody got another recommendation for me?

That’s cute. As reported by DonAlphonso, the Blog4Berlin deleted its webspace! Just after the elections and the shocking results, there’s no need to blog 4 Berlin anymore. Too sad.

A few minutes ago, I did cast my ballot. From now on, there’s time to watch the news about Germany’s Election 2005. But in the room in which people were supposed to vote, two strangers did not understand the idea of casting your ballot in a free democratic and secret manner. They were openly talking about which party they’d vote, and they asked the personnel if they should vote for the CDU or SPD. The working aides were quite confused because they were of course not meant to tell them what to vote for. In the end, they made their choice (which I know because they told everyone), but I hope that these people are the minority of voters… or this could turn out to become a political disaster!

Today is an important day for our country: Germany’s Election 2005 is taking place. While the younger generations preferably choose to vote for the left wing oriented parties like the SPD or the brand new splitt-off Die Linke, the CDU relies on elder people and seniors. With them, they plan to forge their irrational methods of doing nothing else but re-creating the former Kohl-Era under a new banner.

One more thing about the CDU/CSU coalition: Their email spam was a real spam. According to Lautgeben, a famous journalist from the German computer magazine c’t received exactly 120 emails in an email account which was solely set up to report about internet-casinos. That renders the CDU/CSU coalition for many internet users as useless as their political messages seem to be.

I will cast my ballot in about an hour after having the daily routine in the morning of showering and having a good cup of tea. I might take the camera with me and make a few shots of the ballot paper. ;)

Okay, es war ein Scherz, aber ob das nun etwas an ihrer letztendlich stumpfsinnigen Politik ändert, das vermag keiner wissen. Jedoch ist sicherlich ein Großteil der Bevölkerung dafür, also wird sie gewinnen! Go Angie Go… mit Jamster und Co! Aber ne… Angie? Pfui-Bäh! ;)

For the upcoming elections in Germany, this result shows a clear direction of my most recent test on Wen-Waehlen.de. In contrast to my previous results from the more simply constructed Wahl-O-Mat, the test by Alvar Freude does not ask about only 30 thesis, but 54 scaled statements which have been previously given a special accent based on my personal fields of interest.

I suppose this rather detailed test explains my personal stance towards the CDU/CSU and FDP coalition. It took me approximately 20 minutes to fill out the entire rating questionaire, and I received a much more biased result than the “Wish-Wash” result of Wahl-O-Mat. The rather funny remark here is that the Left-Wing party was on top. Its nice to know that these semi-radicals are on top - even if I don’t favorize nor approve this popularistic party.

Germany’s TV stations distribute the live-feed of the Chancelor Schröder and Candidate Merkel on the web. This is a must-see for anybody who’s being interested in the upcoming elections on September 18th. Until now, both politicians do not offer any useful solution to the problems from which the country is suffering. If at least one side would consider that they cannot undo the problems created by the Kohl Administration in the 90s, and if they would not try to argue with the failures of the other party to reason their legitimation for becoming the government, if and then - then we wouldn’t even have to worry about the stupidity of politics.

The reforms of the taxes as suggested by the CDU seems to be worthless under the considerance of the most basic ideas of economics. They cannot finance their reforms, even if they plot their political and financial course to gain support from the rather non-intelligent voters. Surprisingly, Schroeder has given arguments which simply boost Merkel’s ideas off the paper.
